Aquarium Planetarium™ transforms your aquarium into a peaceful nighttime underwater scene by creating the illusion of a field of distant stars behind your fish, plants, and decorations. The flexible 7-foot LED light string can be bent into any natural pattern, allowing each installation to be unique. Position individual lights in the open or behind plants and decorations to create your own custom starfield. For best results.

Remove the light string, three suction cups, and battery pack from the package.

Wrap the aluminum wire once around the base of each suction cup. Install one suction cup on each end and one near the center of the light string. Then press the first suction cup onto the back glass of the aquarium at any desired starting point. The light string may extend toward the sides of the aquarium if desired.

When you reach the middle of the light string, press the second suction cup onto the glass to hold the pattern in place.

Continue shaping the remaining light string. Press the final suction cup onto the glass when satisfied with the design.

For a more three-dimensional starfield place some LEDs against the glass, while others extend farther into the aquarium. Hide portions behind plants, rocks, driftwood, or decorations as desired.

For best effect, consider adding a blue light option to your tank. Larger aquariums may also benefit from installing two or more Aquarium Planetarium™ units to create a fuller night sky. If your aquarium has a curved front panel, you may notice some refraction of the LEDs through the glass.
